No Stopping High Lane Runners

Once again, we had a brilliant turnout for the second race of the Schools’ Cross-Country League at Woodbank Park together with some fantastic results. The Y3/4 girls are proving to be a formidable team with Mia (12th) showing a huge improvement to join Sophie (10th), Imogen (13th) and Lauren (14th) near the front of the pack to keep High Lane in 2nd place overall.

Wythenshawe Schools’ Cross-Country League

Despite the midweek race, 5 of our children decided to do it all again at the weekend and run in the Manchester Schools’ Cross-Country League at Wythenshawe Park.  Imogen, Beth, Will and Hannah all ran well but the stand-out performance had to be Lauren’s excellent 6th place in the Y3/4 race.  Well done to all of you for showing such dedication.

Dominant Display at Marple Hall

We took our largest team of 31 runners to this year’s Cross-Country Championships at Marple Hall and we had our best result so far. Parents Prove That They Can Do It Too

We invited parents to join us in our final Cross-Country Club of the year and a lot of fun was had by all.  The number of participants was fantastic and we thank everyone for their efforts and support.  It was certainly an insight into where some of our children’s competitive instincts originate from.
