We took two teams to this event and it was well worth the trip. The final two events of this season’s calendar were packed closely together and we had a huge turnout in both of them, managing over 30 runners in the last race. There’s been some intense competition within the High Lane camp throughout the season, notably amongst the year 3/4 girls and boys; this continued in the final two events where Imogen came out on top

We had 60 people taking part in our special cross-county event on Friday, a quarter of whom were parents. There were some striking hats on display but what was most impressive was the level of commitment shown by everyone. Despite December being notoriously busy, we still managed to get a huge number of children attending the third race at Woodbank Park, including first timers Brook (Y4) and Ford (Y3).
