Britain’s Tim Peake Begins his spacewalk!

Today we all met in the hall to watch Major Peake step into space as part of a six-and-a-half-hour mission to repair a broken power unit on the International Space Station. We all sat in amazement as we watch him check his space suit and the equipment on the outside of the Space Station.  We even got a glimpse of the Earth!

Hello and Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovely holiday. It was lovely to meet the children properly today and I hope they like the new look to the classroom! We have lots of things to look forward to this term, including a trip to the air raid shelters as part of our work on Stockport during World War 2 (more information to follow soon).
